Your Journey

Sweaty Betty is in the process of implementing its first Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and is looking for an experienced Librarian or Digital Asset Manager to maintain and support teams in organising their creative and rich media files. With this foundational system in place, we are keen to introduce new technologies that improve operational efficiencies and ultimately provide a better customer experience. With a positive, people-oriented, and highly organised attitude, you will use your analytical and logical approach to create, implement and support new asset management processes.

Working closely with our DAM supplier, IT team and members of the Marketing and Ecomm team across all levels of the business, the role will define and document the asset platforms, workflows, processes and mentor the team in streamlining our creative and distribution functions.

Your SB Journey will include:

  • Developing and maintaining filing and archiving processes for all creative department output. Includes ingestion, annotation, metadata, cataloguing, storage, retrieval and distribution of global digital assets.
  • Creating a standardised process around usage rights, uploading and mapping relevant usage right data to corresponding assets.
  • You will be responsible for archiving and maintaining reasonable storage levels within the DAM.
  • Training teams on proper usage and best practices, maintaining any training user manuals and be the first line for help & support.
  • Helping teams promote and share new content via the DAM.
  • Maintain the metadata and taxonomy of the DAM – editing, replacing and when needed restructuring.
  • Performing regular reporting on expiry of usage rights, duplication, DAM usage and share success stories.
  • Develop new ways of working to improve the efficiency of asset management business processes.
  • Act as the DAM business owner capturing user feedback and working with the IT team and DAM supplier on system performance.
  • Continue to identify opportunities for automation and productivity efficiencies within the DAM that can help other Sweaty Betty teams.
  • Work with the IT team and DAM supplier to drive an innovation roadmap to achieve maximum value from the DAM.

  • Ability to design and extend cataloguing taxonomy and define content policies
  • Structured and detail-oriented: you’re excited by helping develop structure around something new and building streamlined and transparent processes
  • A passion for continuous improvements and delivering well-designed and executed solutions/processes
  • Adept at building collaborative partnerships across teams and working cross functionally to deliver results
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills

Our D&I Commitment

Our mission is to empower all women.  This means doing more and working harder to make the long-lasting changes necessary to become an inclusive, diverse and actively anti-racist company. We care about our people, our community, our world.  And we want to stand up for what we believe in.

We want to give our people a platform to use their voice. And actively listen and learn from what they have to say.  This involves focusing on learning, development and progression across the business.  Training our leaders, managers and teams about their rights under our equality, diversity and inclusion policy. And being clear on the responsibilities we hold to each other and our community. It also means being committed to equal employment opportunities. Ensuring we consider ALL applicants for jobs. And work harder to make our job advertising more inclusive.

Ultimately, we’re working to create a culture and team that represents our customers, our community and our mission of empowerment. We want to celebrate our diversity and the power it gives our team and our business.

We know we’re on a journey. And far from perfect. But we want to be a part of the solution to the problem. It might not be comfortable or straightforward. But if we weren’t up for doing the hard work and breaking the mould, we wouldn’t be Sweaty Betty.  We are committed to working across our business and with our Internal Diversity & Inclusion Squad to be champions, allies and inclusive, always. Because when we say All, we mean it.
